Solana Beach is compact, about 1.7 miles of coastline wedged between Del Mar to the south and Cardiff-by-the-Sea to the north, and most deliveries come off Lomas Santa Fe Drive, the main I-5 exit down to the coast, or Via de la Valle from the south.
The Cedros corridor concentrates most of the activity. The Cedros Design District runs a couple of blocks between Lomas Santa Fe Drive and Plaza Street, storefronts tight to the sidewalk, with the Coaster transit center at its north end. Eden Gardens, east of the tracks, is straightforwardly residential.
Toward the water, the bluff-top condos around Fletcher Cove, Tide Beach Park and Seascape Surf frequently sit behind gated lots. A unit number and gate code in the order notes is the difference between a handoff at the door and a phone call from the street.
