Two square miles, two different places
Del Mar is one of the smallest cities MedLeaf serves at roughly 2.2 square miles, and it splits into two very different delivery pictures: the low-lying blocks along Camino del Mar and the bluff neighborhoods above them.

West of Camino del Mar and north of 15th Street is the Beach Colony, where street parking is tight and a lot of addresses are second-row units, guest houses or seasonal rentals. Adding a unit number and any gate code when you order saves the driver a call from the curb.
Fair and race season
Traffic here moves with the Del Mar Fairgrounds calendar: the San Diego County Fair through June and into early July, the summer race meet from mid-July into early September, and a shorter fall meet in November. On event days Via de la Valle and the Jimmy Durante Boulevard approach back up badly.
The Fairgrounds and racetrack are state-owned property. California delivery rules exclude publicly owned land, so an order cannot be handed over on the grounds or in the parking lots.
